IV Drip at Home in Mumbai
Doctor-assessed IV fluids, given and monitored by trained staff, at home anywhere in Mumbai.
Emergency? Call 112.

An IV drip at home is only given after a doctor has examined you and decided it is safe and medically necessary — never as a wellness, energy or immunity boost. If dehydration from illness is judged safe to manage at home, trained staff give and monitor the drip throughout. If your condition needs more than this, the doctor will say so clearly and help arrange hospital care instead.
Medically reviewed by our qualified, registered clinical team — the reviewing doctor's qualification is shared on the call.
- What it is
- A doctor first assesses whether IV fluids are medically necessary and safe to give at home; trained staff administer and monitor the drip if so.
- How fast
- Typically 30–45 minutes for the doctor's assessment visit.
- Cost
- The assessment, and the IV fluids if advised, are confirmed on the phone before dispatch.
- Who visits
- A doctor assesses and decides; trained staff administer and monitor the drip.
- How to book
- Call or WhatsApp us with your symptoms and address — a doctor will assess whether this is appropriate.
When a Doctor Might Advise a Home IV Drip
This is always a doctor's clinical decision after examining you, not something arranged on request.
How This Service Works
- 1You call or WhatsApp describing your symptoms; this is not a direct IV-drip booking.
- 2A doctor visits first and examines you to assess the cause and severity.
- 3If an IV drip is appropriate and safe at home, the doctor explains this and the charge is confirmed.
- 4Trained staff set up the drip using sterile equipment and monitor you throughout.
- 5You're observed for any reaction during and after the infusion.
- 6The doctor advises on next steps, including whether a follow-up or hospital referral is needed.
What Can and Cannot Be Done at Home
Can Be Done at Home
- Doctor assessment of dehydration or fluid-loss symptoms
- IV fluid administration when a doctor judges it safe
- Monitoring throughout the infusion for reactions
- Advice on oral rehydration as an alternative where appropriate
- Clear guidance on when hospital care is the safer option
Cannot Be Done at Home
- Giving IV fluids without a doctor's assessment
- IV drips for energy, wellness or immunity — we do not offer this
- Managing severe dehydration or shock — this needs a hospital
- Blood transfusions or other hospital-only infusions
- Guaranteeing an IV drip will be given before the doctor has assessed you
When NOT to Book a Home Visit — Call 112
A home IV drip is only for stable, doctor-assessed situations. Severe illness needs hospital-level care, not a home infusion.
- • Severe chest pain, pressure or tightness
- • Sudden weakness or numbness on one side of the body, or slurred speech
- • Fainting or loss of consciousness
- • Severe or rapidly worsening breathlessness
- • Heavy bleeding that will not stop
- • Major trauma — a serious fall, road accident or head injury
- • Signs of severe dehydration — very little urine, extreme weakness, confusion or fainting
- • Any illness that is rapidly worsening rather than stable
If any of the above applies, call 112 or go to the nearest hospital emergency department immediately. Home visits are not a substitute for emergency services.
Preparing for the Visit
- • Note how long you've been unable to keep fluids down, and how much vomiting or loose motion has occurred
- • Keep any current medicines and known allergies ready to mention
- • Try small sips of water or ORS before the doctor arrives, if tolerated
- • Have a comfortable place to sit or lie down for the assessment and, if advised, the drip
- • Keep a family member present if the patient is weak or elderly
